Steal a Brainrot Guide (2026)

Steal a Brainrot is pure chaos and I love it. You collect weird Skibidi Toilet meme creatures that generate cash, then other players try to steal them from your base while you do the same to them. Simple concept, surprisingly deep gameplay.

I’ve spent way too many hours on this game. Lost count after hitting my first trillion. This Steal a Brainrot guide covers everything from your first brainrot to dominating the leaderboards.

How Steal a Brainrot Works

The core loop is simple:

  1. Get brainrots (buy or steal)
  2. Put them in your base
  3. They generate cash per second
  4. Use cash to buy better brainrots
  5. Defend your base from thieves
  6. Steal from other players
  7. Rebirth for permanent bonuses
  8. Repeat

Every brainrot has a cash-per-second stat. Better brainrots = more money = faster progression. The catch? Everyone wants your good brainrots, and you want theirs.

Your Base: The Basics

When you spawn, you get a personal base. This is your vault, your sanctuary, and your biggest vulnerability.

The Lock System

Your base has a Lock button. Click it and your base becomes secure for 60 seconds. During this time:

  • Nobody can enter
  • Nobody can steal your brainrots
  • You’re completely safe

After 60 seconds, the lock expires and anyone can walk in. You need to manually re-lock. I cannot stress this enough: always keep your base locked.

I lost a Chimpanzini Spiderini worth billions because I got distracted and forgot to re-lock. Don’t be me.

Friend Toggle

You can allow friends to bypass your laser security. Sounds nice, right? Here’s the thing: friends can still steal from you. The toggle just lets them enter without getting zapped.

Trust nobody in this game. Seriously. I’ve seen “friends” clean out bases the moment someone looks away.

Getting Your First Brainrots

Two ways to acquire brainrots: buying and stealing.

The Conveyor Belt

The red conveyor in the center of the map displays rotating brainrots for sale. Each one shows:

  • Name and rarity
  • Price
  • Cash per second stat

Here’s the catch: prices increase every time someone buys. If a brainrot starts at 1,000 and three people buy it, the fourth person pays way more. Prices reset periodically.

Pro tip: Don’t buy immediately when you spawn. Watch the conveyor, learn the prices, and wait for good deals. Or better yet, just steal.

Stealing 101

This is where the game gets fun. To steal a brainrot:

  1. Find a base with the lock expired (no shield visible)
  2. Sprint inside
  3. Touch the brainrot you want
  4. Run back to your base before getting killed

Sounds easy. It’s not. Base owners will attack you. Other thieves might steal your target first. You might grab a worthless brainrot by accident.

Stealing tips:

  • Scout first. Watch bases from a distance to see what’s inside.
  • Time your entry. Wait for the owner to be distracted or AFK.
  • Grab and go. Don’t be greedy. One good brainrot is better than dying with nothing.
  • Know your escape route. Plan how you’re getting out before you go in.

Combat and Weapons

You can buy weapons from the shop NPC. These let you:

  • Knock raiders out of your base
  • Clear a path during escapes
  • Defend yourself while stealing

Weapon effectiveness scales with your rebirth level. Early game weapons feel weak. Post-rebirth weapons actually hurt.

Combat tips:

  • Swing while moving. Standing still makes you an easy target.
  • Use knockback strategically. Push raiders away from your valuable brainrots.
  • Don’t chase too far. Leaving your base undefended to chase one thief is how you lose everything.

The Rebirth System

Rebirthing is how you actually progress. It wipes your cash and brainrots but gives permanent bonuses:

  • Increased cash multiplier
  • Better weapon damage
  • Access to higher-tier items
  • Rebirth-exclusive brainrots

When to Rebirth

Don’t rebirth the moment you can. Build up first:

  1. Accumulate valuable brainrots
  2. Transfer them to a trusted friend or alt account
  3. Rebirth
  4. Get your brainrots back immediately

This way you keep your collection while gaining rebirth bonuses. I’ve seen players rebirth without transferring and lose Secret-tier brainrots worth billions. Painful to watch.

Rebirth Strategy

Each rebirth requires more cash than the last. Early rebirths are quick. Later ones take serious grinding.

Focus on:

  • First 5 rebirths ASAP (bonuses are huge)
  • Building a solid brainrot collection between rebirths
  • Never rebirthing with valuable brainrots in your base

Brainrot Tiers and Rarity

Not all brainrots are equal. The rarity system determines value:

RarityCash/SecondAvailability
CommonLowConveyor, cheap
UncommonMediumConveyor
RareGoodConveyor, pricier
EpicGreatConveyor, expensive
LegendaryExcellentConveyor, very expensive
SecretInsaneEvents, lucky blocks, crafting

Secret brainrots are the endgame. They generate ridiculous cash and are extremely hard to obtain. Strawberry Elephant, 67, Chimpanzini Spiderini - these are the ones everyone wants.

Best Brainrots to Target

Based on cash-per-second and availability. These are the exact values so you know what you’re grinding for.

OG Tier (The Holy Grail)

BrainrotCash/SecondCostNotes
Strawberry Elephant$550M/s$550BRarest brainrot in the game
Skibidi Toilet$350M/s$350BNewest OG, spawns during Admin Abuse
67$250M+/sAdmin Lucky BlocksExtremely rare drop

Strawberry Elephant is THE brainrot everyone wants. $550 million per second is insane. You’ll see players with bases full of these dominating leaderboards.

Skibidi Toilet just got added and people are going crazy for it. $350M/s for $350B cost. The spawn rate is higher during Admin Abuse events, so that’s your best shot.

S Tier (Get These Immediately)

BrainrotCash/SecondNotes
Dragon Cannelloni$100M/sTop Secret tier
Chimpanzini Spiderini$100-150M/sSecret, meta-defining
Dul Dul Dul$100M+/sTop-tier Secret
GaramaHighSecret tier

A Tier (Excellent)

  • La Vacca Saturno Sarturnita - High cash rate, slightly cheaper than OGs
  • Los Tralaleritos - Great income for the cost
  • Trenostruzzo Turbo 4000 - Massive income potential
  • Tralaledon - $27.5M per second, best craftable option

B Tier (Solid Choices)

  • Cocofanto Elefanto - Best value for mid-game
  • Bombardiro Crocodilo - Reliable income
  • Tralalero Tralala - Good starter Secret

Don’t sleep on lower-tier brainrots early game. A base full of Rares beats an empty base every time.

Base Defense Strategies

Offense wins games, defense wins championships. Or something like that.

Active Defense

When you’re playing:

  • Keep your base locked constantly
  • Stand near your most valuable brainrots
  • Attack anyone who enters
  • Watch for lock timer expiration

Passive Defense

When you’re AFK or distracted:

  • Lock your base before doing anything else
  • Position valuable brainrots in hard-to-reach spots
  • Consider transferring top brainrots to an alt

The Friend Strategy

Some players use friends as guards. One person defends while others steal. Coordinated teams dominate servers.

If you’re solo, you’re at a disadvantage. Consider joining a group or playing during off-peak hours when servers are less chaotic.

Advanced Stealing Tactics

Once you’ve got the basics, level up your theft game.

The Distraction

Works with a partner. One person attacks the base owner while the other grabs brainrots. Classic misdirection.

The Wait

Find a base with good brainrots. Wait nearby. The moment the lock expires, sprint in before the owner notices. Patience pays.

The Chaos

During server events or when multiple people are fighting, bases get neglected. Use the chaos to slip in unnoticed.

The Snipe

When someone buys a brainrot from the conveyor, it spawns in their base. If their base is unlocked, you can steal it before they even get there.

Admin Abuse Events

This is the big one. Admin Abuse is when the developer Sammy uses admin commands to spawn rare brainrots, Lucky Blocks, and run special events. If you want OG and Secret brainrots, you need to be online during Admin Abuse.

When Does Admin Abuse Start?

Admin Abuse runs on a regular schedule:

DayEventTime
TuesdayTaco Tuesday3:00 PM EST (12:00 PM PT, 8:00 PM GMT)
SaturdayWeekend Update3:00 PM EST (12:00 PM PT, 8:00 PM GMT)

Events last 30-45 minutes and happen across ALL servers, including private ones.

Early Bird Rewards

Here’s a secret most players miss. Sammy gives “Early Bird” rewards to players who are online about an hour before Admin Abuse starts. That means:

  • Tuesday Early Bird: Around 2:00 PM EST (11:00 AM PT)
  • Saturday Early Bird: Around 2:00 PM EST (11:00 AM PT)

Log in early, hang out, and you might get free stuff before the chaos even begins.

What Happens During Admin Abuse?

During the event:

  • OG brainrots spawn on the conveyor (Skibidi Toilet, Strawberry Elephant)
  • Admin Lucky Blocks appear (chance at 67 and other rare drops)
  • Special traits and mutations activate
  • Limited-edition brainrots become available

The spawn rate for rare brainrots is WAY higher during Admin Abuse. This is genuinely your best chance to get OG-tier brainrots without spending billions.

Admin Abuse Strategy

  1. Log in 30-60 minutes early - Servers fill up fast
  2. Use a private server if possible - Less competition
  3. Watch the conveyor constantly - OGs spawn randomly
  4. Have cash ready - You need to buy fast
  5. Don’t steal during the event - Focus on the conveyor spawns
  6. Check Discord for announcements - Sometimes schedules change

I’ve gotten two Skibidi Toilets during Admin Abuse. Both times I was camping the conveyor and had cash ready. Preparation beats luck.

Events and Updates

BRAZILIAN SPYDER runs regular events beyond Admin Abuse:

  • Advent Calendar - Daily free brainrots in December
  • Gingerbread Town - Winter event with exclusive brainrots
  • Lucky Block Events - Chance at Secret brainrots

Check the in-game news and Discord for announcements. Event brainrots are often limited-time and become valuable later.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

After watching countless players fail, here’s what NOT to do:

  1. Forgetting to lock - Set a mental timer. Lock every 50 seconds.
  2. Buying overpriced brainrots - Wait for price resets or steal instead.
  3. Rebirthing with valuables - Always transfer first.
  4. Trusting “friends” - Everyone is a potential thief.
  5. Chasing thieves too far - Your base is now undefended.
  6. Ignoring events - Free brainrots are free brainrots.
  7. Going AFK unlocked - You will lose everything.

Quick Start Checklist

New player? Do this:

  1. Lock your base immediately
  2. Watch the conveyor, learn prices
  3. Buy one cheap brainrot to start generating cash
  4. Scout other bases for steal targets
  5. Steal when opportunities arise
  6. Keep locking your base
  7. Save for better brainrots
  8. Rebirth when ready (transfer first!)
  9. Repeat with bonuses
