Prove You Are Not a Dum Dum Answers Guide (2025)

I put together this Prove You Are Not a Dum Dum answers guide after failing room 40 about fifteen times. Thought I was losing my mind until I realized the numbers were hidden all over the room. Classic.

The game now has 120 rooms (with room 121 added in recent updates) and most of them are straightforward. But some rooms? They’ll make you question everything. I’m talking hidden numbers, math tricks, and puzzles that seem impossible until you know the trick. The devs also fixed that annoying hammer bug that was breaking some rooms.

This guide covers every room that actually needs an answer. Most rooms are self-explanatory, but the ones below will save you from the frustration I went through.

Rooms 101-121 (New Content)

The devs added rooms beyond 110 in recent updates. These newer puzzles follow the same style but some are trickier. I’m still working through all of them and will add specific answers as I verify them.

What I’ve noticed so far: the post-110 rooms lean heavier on observation puzzles and hidden elements. If you’re stuck, look around the entire room before focusing on the main puzzle.

Room 38 Walkthrough

This is a time-based pattern puzzle. You see: 1:2 2:1 3:4 4:3

The pattern swaps pairs. So the answer is 2143. Took me a minute to see it.

Room 40 Walkthrough

This room destroyed me. You need to find four hidden numbers scattered around the room.

Number 1: Right next to the door. Easy to spot.

Number 4: Behind the fake blue wall. Walk through it. Yeah, the wall is fake.

Number 8: Behind the sign. Look carefully.

Number 3: On the ceiling light. Look up.

Enter them in order: 1, 4, 8, 3. The room teaches you that this game loves hiding things in plain sight.

Room 61 Explained

The cat math puzzle. You see cats with numbers and need to figure out the pattern.

The answer is 16. The math works out when you count the cats correctly and apply the pattern shown. I won’t spoil the exact logic, but pay attention to how many cats are in each equation.

Room 71 Explained

Four animals in a box. Count their legs.

  • Dog = 4 legs
  • Snake = 0 legs
  • Duck = 2 legs

Add or arrange the leg counts as shown in the room. The answer is 4026. Once you see the pattern, it clicks.

Room 68 Two-Part Answer

This one tricks people because it needs two codes.

First, enter 9999. Then enter 0000. Both are required to complete the room.

Tips for Rooms Without Specific Answers

Most rooms from 1 to 120 don’t need a guide. They’re logic puzzles, observation tests, or simple math. Here’s what helped me get through them.

Read everything twice. The questions are designed to trick you. Slow down and read every word.

Look everywhere. Numbers hide in weird places. Ceilings, behind objects, on signs. Room 40 taught me this the hard way.

Question obvious answers. If something seems too easy, it probably is. The game wants you to pick the wrong answer.

Try both extremes. When a room asks for a number and you’re stuck, try 0 or the maximum possible value. Sometimes the answer is simpler than you think.

Common Mistakes

After watching friends play, these are the mistakes I see most often.

Rushing through questions. The game punishes speed. Take your time.

Not exploring the room. Some answers aren’t in the question. They’re hidden in the environment.

Overthinking simple rooms. Not every room is a trick. Some are genuinely straightforward.

Forgetting leading zeros. Room 72’s answer is 0242, not 242. The zero matters.

What Happens at Room 110?

You get a message saying you’re smart enough to finish the game. It’s basically the original ending before they added more rooms.

The rooms after 110 are newer additions. They follow the same puzzle style but some are trickier since the devs had more time to think of evil puzzles. As of December 2025, the game goes up to room 121.

Recent Updates

The devs (@iSeenHorses) pushed a major bug fix recently. The hammer issue that was breaking some rooms should now be resolved. If you were stuck because of that bug, try the game again.

Collectibles

The game has collectibles scattered throughout. Look for the rat emoji (🐀) mentioned on the official Roblox game page. Finding all of them is a separate challenge from just completing the rooms.

I haven’t found them all yet. If you’re going for 100% completion, you’ll need to replay rooms and explore more carefully than I did.
