Plague Class Tier List (2026)

After 50+ rounds of Plague, I’ve seen what classes actually perform. Some are broken good. Some are mid. Some make you wonder why you wasted a spin.

This Plague class tier list ranks every survivor and zombie class based on actual gameplay, not theory. The meta is still forming since the game is in Alpha, but clear winners have emerged.

Need spins to unlock classes? Grab the free Plague codes first.

Survivor Class Breakdown

S Tier

Samurai

The chainsaw one-shots zombies. That’s it. That’s the whole reason it’s S tier.

In a game where zombies swarm you, having a weapon that instantly kills them is broken. You can hold chokepoints solo, save teammates, and clutch rounds that should be losses.

If you roll Samurai, you’re set for survivor rounds. Stop spinning.

Trackstar

Speed is survival. Trackstar moves faster than any other class, which means:

  • Escape bad situations
  • Reposition quickly
  • Kite zombies indefinitely
  • Reach weapons first

You can’t kill what you can’t catch. Trackstar players survive rounds they have no business surviving.

A Tier

Prototype

Enhanced combat abilities make Prototype a solid all-rounder. Good damage output, decent survivability, no major weaknesses.

Not as game-changing as S tier, but consistently performs well. If you roll Prototype, you’re in good shape.

B Tier

Most other survivor classes fall here. They’re usable and have their moments, but don’t have the standout abilities that define S/A tier.

Play them if that’s what you have. Upgrade when you can.

C Tier

Default/Basic Classes

No special abilities. No advantages. You’re playing on hard mode.

Use codes to get spins and escape C tier as fast as possible.

Zombie Class Breakdown

Zombie classes matter less than survivor classes since zombies win through numbers, not individual power. But some are definitely better.

S Tier

Speed-Focused Variants

Any zombie class with enhanced movement speed is S tier. Closing distance is everything. Survivors can’t shoot what’s already on top of them.

Fast zombies catch isolated survivors, dodge gunfire better, and apply constant pressure.

A Tier

Damage-Focused Variants

Classes with enhanced damage or special attacks. Useful for breaking through defenses and taking down survivors faster.

Not as universally good as speed, but strong in the right situations.

B Tier

Standard Variants

Basic zombie classes without major enhancements. They work fine since zombies have numbers advantage anyway.

Why These Rankings?

Samurai is broken because one-shot melee in a swarm game is overpowered. Simple as that.

Trackstar is broken because speed counters the core zombie strategy of surrounding survivors.

Speed zombies are best because infection requires contact. Faster contact = more infections.

The game is in Alpha so balance changes will happen. I’ll update this list when the meta shifts.

Spin Strategy

Don’t hoard spins forever. Use them.

Priority: Get out of C tier first. Any B tier class is a massive upgrade over default. The Discord has been tracking win rates and C tier players lose 70% more rounds.

Goal: Roll for S tier (Samurai or Trackstar). These classes win rounds.

Reality: RNG is RNG. You might get lucky on spin 3 or spin 300. Use codes for free spins and keep rolling.

Class Synergies

Samurai + Trackstar team is disgusting. Samurai holds the line while Trackstar kites and repositions. Cover each other’s weaknesses.

Multiple Prototypes create a solid defensive core. Consistent damage output from multiple angles.

Speed zombies coordinating overwhelm any defense. Attack from multiple directions simultaneously.

Common Mistakes

Thinking class doesn’t matter. It does. S tier classes have significantly higher win rates.

Saving spins “for later.” Use them now. Better class = more wins = more fun.

Playing default class when you have options. Always equip your best class before the round starts.

Ignoring class abilities. Your class has abilities for a reason. Learn them and use them.
