Loot Up enchanting basics: weapon first to +10, chest armor second to +7, ignore other slots until endgame. Total cost for +10 weapon is 385 enchant stones. Grab codes for 500+ free stones before you start.
Enchanting is where Loot Up's real progression happens. Gear drops are random but enchanting is deterministic. You control exactly how strong your equipment gets.
The January 18th update adds new enchants and skills. World 3 + Clans drops January 25th with likely new gear tiers. This guide covers the current system but expect changes. I'll update when the new content drops.
I burned through 200+ stones making mistakes before I figured out the system. The math below will save you resources.
How Enchanting Works
Find the Enchanting Station near spawn. Interact with it to open the upgrade menu.
Select a piece of gear. Spend Enchant Stones. Gear level increases by +1. Stats improve.
That's it. No RNG, no failure chance, no gear destruction. Every stone spent is guaranteed progress.
Enchant Stone Costs
Costs increase per level. Full breakdown:
| Level | Stones Required | Total to Reach |
|---|---|---|
| +1 | 5 | 5 |
| +2 | 10 | 15 |
| +3 | 15 | 30 |
| +4 | 20 | 50 |
| +5 | 25 | 75 |
| +6 | 35 | 110 |
| +7 | 45 | 155 |
| +8 | 55 | 210 |
| +9 | 70 | 280 |
| +10 | 105 | 385 |
Getting a weapon to +10 costs 385 total stones. The codes give you 500+, so you can max one weapon immediately and have stones left over.
+11 through +15 exist but cost 150+ stones per level. That's endgame territory.
Stat Scaling
Each +1 increases stats by a percentage of base stats. The exact numbers:
Weapons: +8% damage per level. A +10 weapon deals 80% more damage than +0.
Armor: +5% defense and HP per level. A +10 chest gives 50% more survivability.
Rings: +3% bonus effect per level. Rings scale worse than other slots.
The weapon scaling is why you focus weapons first. 80% more damage means killing enemies almost twice as fast. Faster kills = more loot = faster progression.
Upgrade Priority
The order I recommend:
1. Main Weapon to +10
Non-negotiable. Do this first with your code stones.
Pick your best weapon (highest rarity, stats you like) and dump everything into it. Don't touch other gear until your weapon hits +10.
A +10 Rare weapon outdamages a +0 Epic weapon. Rarity matters less than enchant level for damage output.
2. Chest Armor to +7
Chest gives the biggest defensive boost. +7 is the sweet spot where cost-efficiency drops off.
Going from +7 to +10 costs 230 stones for 15% more defense. Going from +0 to +7 costs 155 stones for 35% more defense. The early levels are more efficient.
3. Helmet to +5
Helmet is second-best armor slot. +5 costs 75 stones and gives meaningful survivability.
4. Everything Else
Gloves, boots, and rings can wait. The stat gains are small and stones are better spent elsewhere.
Once you're farming endgame content and stones flow freely, then max everything.
When to Enchant
Don't enchant Common or Uncommon gear. You'll replace it within an hour. The stones are wasted.
Rare (blue) gear is safe to enchant. You'll use Rare weapons through mid-game. A +10 Rare weapon carries you to level 40+.
Epic (purple) gear is your main investment. Once you get an Epic weapon, that's your enchant target until Legendary drops.
Legendary (orange) gear is endgame. Max enchant Legendary weapons. They're your final gear.
Stone Farming
Codes give you a head start but you'll need more stones eventually.
Boss drops are the best source. Bosses drop 5-15 stones per kill depending on difficulty.
Elite enemies (glowing red) drop 1-3 stones. Farm areas with high elite density.
Daily login rewards include stones. Log in every day even if you don't play.
Chests scattered around maps contain stones. Open every chest you see.
Selling duplicate gear gives coins, not stones. Don't expect stones from the shop.
Stuff I Got Wrong
Spreading stones across all gear. I did this. Had five +3 pieces instead of one +10 weapon. My damage was terrible. Focus one slot at a time.
Enchanting before checking rarity. I enchanted a Common weapon to +5 before realizing it was white tier. Replaced it 20 minutes later. Check rarity first.
Ignoring the weapon slot. Some players enchant armor first for survivability. Wrong approach. Dead enemies can't hurt you. Damage > defense in this game.
Stopping at +5. The jump from +5 to +10 is where weapons get strong. +5 is a checkpoint, not a stopping point.
Enchanting rings early. Rings scale poorly. A +10 ring gives less bonus than a +5 weapon. Skip rings until everything else is maxed.
Enchant Stone Math
Let's compare two approaches:
Approach A: Spread 385 stones across all 6 slots (+3 each)
- Weapon: +24% damage
- Total defense: +15% across 4 armor pieces
- Ring: +9% bonus
Approach B: Dump 385 stones into weapon (+10)
- Weapon: +80% damage
- Total defense: +0%
- Ring: +0%
Approach B kills enemies 56% faster. Faster kills mean less time taking damage. The "defensive" approach actually gets you killed more because fights drag on.
Endgame Enchanting
Once you hit level 50+ and have Legendary gear:
+15 is the cap. Costs roughly 1,200 total stones per piece.
Weapon to +15 first. Same logic as early game. Damage scaling wins.
Full +10 armor set second. At endgame, you have stones to spare.
Rings last. Even at +15, rings are the weakest slot.
Save stones for new gear. When better Legendary pieces drop, you'll want stones ready.
Short Reference
| Slot | Priority | Target Level | Stone Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weapon | 1st | +10 | 385 |
| Chest | 2nd | +7 | 155 |
| Helmet | 3rd | +5 | 75 |
| Gloves | 4th | +5 | 75 |
| Boots | 5th | +5 | 75 |
| Ring | Last | +5 | 75 |
Total for this setup: 840 stones. Codes give you 500+, boss farming covers the rest.
