King Legacy has three seas, 50+ fruits, and a level cap of 5000+. The grind is real but the payoff is worth it. I've put 500+ hours across two accounts and still find new things to do.
The game follows One Piece loosely. You eat devil fruits, fight bosses, and sail between islands. First Sea teaches you the basics. Second Sea introduces awakening. Third Sea is endgame PvP and raids.
First Sea (Level 1-2250)
First Sea is your tutorial. You'll spend 15-20 hours here depending on your fruit and how efficiently you grind.
Level 1-50: Starter Island
Talk to the quest NPC near spawn. Kill bandits until level 50. Don't waste time exploring yet.
Stat allocation: Put everything into melee or sword depending on your playstyle. Ignore defense for now.
Level 50-100: Shells Town
Sail east to Shells Town. The Marines here drop decent Beli and the quests give solid XP.
I made the mistake of trying to fight the boss here at level 60. Got one-shot. Wait until 90+ with a decent fruit.
Level 100-230: Orange Town
Buggy's territory. The clown pirates hit harder than Marines but the XP scales well.
Fruit tip: If you're still fruitless, start spinning here. Any Logia makes First Sea trivial because NPCs can't hit you without Haki.
Level 230-400: Baratie
The floating restaurant. Chefs and waiters are your targets. Boss drops a sword worth keeping.
Level 400-625: Arlong Park
Fishmen hit hard. Bring healing food or a regen fruit. The Kiribachi sword drops here and it's solid for early game.
Level 625-800: Logue Town
Marines again but stronger. Smoker is the boss and he's annoying if you don't have a counter to Logia.
Level 800-1200: Skypiea
You need a flying fruit or boat upgrade to reach Skypiea. The angels and priests give massive XP compared to previous islands.
Enel boss: Lightning fruit user. Rubber counters him completely. Otherwise, bring Haki.
Level 1200-1700: Marineford
War zone. Admirals patrol and will destroy you if you're underleveled. Stick to the outer areas until 1500+.
Level 1700-2250: Fishman Island
Final First Sea island. Underwater aesthetic but you can breathe fine. Grind here until 2250.
Second Sea unlock: Talk to the NPC behind the tower on War Island. You need a map drop from Fishman soldiers (10% chance). Kill them until it drops, then talk to the NPC again.
Second Sea (Level 2250-4000)
Second Sea introduces fruit awakening and harder content. The difficulty spike is real.
Level 2250-2700: Punk Hazard
Ice and fire split island. Caesar boss drops good loot. The hazmat enemies give solid XP.
Level 2700-3300: Dressrosa
Colosseum fights and Doflamingo. This is where most players hit a wall. You need awakening or a strong fruit to progress efficiently.
Awakening unlock: Complete the awakening quest at level 3000+. Costs fragments and Beli. Worth every penny.
Level 3300-4000: Whole Cake Island
Big Mom territory. The homies (living objects) are annoying but drop good materials. Grind here until 4000.
Third Sea unlock: Reach level 4000 and complete the portal quest. You'll need to defeat a mini-boss.
Third Sea (Level 4000+)
Endgame. PvP, raids, and the hardest bosses. Most players spend hundreds of hours here.
Wano
Samurai and Beast Pirates. Kaido raid is the main attraction. You need a full party and good coordination.
Onigashima
Raid island. Weekly resets on boss drops. This is where you farm endgame gear.
Stat Builds
You get 3 stat points per level. Here's how to spend them:
Fruit Build (PvE)
- 60% Fruit
- 30% Defense
- 10% Melee
Best for grinding. Your fruit abilities carry you through content.
Sword Build (PvP)
- 50% Sword
- 30% Defense
- 20% Melee
Swords have better combo potential in PvP. Melee for M1 damage.
Hybrid Build
- 40% Fruit
- 40% Sword
- 20% Defense
Jack of all trades. Works for everything, excels at nothing.
Stat resets: Use the code FREESTATSRESET or 2MFAV from the King Legacy Codes page. Respec whenever you get a new fruit.
Fruit Awakening
Awakening transforms your fruit abilities. Bigger hitboxes, more damage, new moves.
Requirements:
- Level 3000+
- 20,000 Fragments
- 5,000,000 Beli
- Complete the awakening trial
Best awakenings: Dough, Buddha, Magma, Gravity, Love. These go from good to broken after awakening.
Check the King Legacy Fruit Tier List for detailed rankings.
Money Making
Beli matters for awakening, boats, and respecs.
Best methods:
- Boss farming (drops sell for millions)
- Fruit trading (rare fruits = massive Beli)
- Quest grinding (boring but consistent)
- Raids (endgame, best returns)
I made my first 10 million from Doflamingo drops. Took about 3 hours of farming.
Common Mistakes
Spreading stats evenly: Don't. Pick a build and commit.
Ignoring Haki: You need Observation and Armament Haki to fight Logia users. Train both.
Skipping islands: The level requirements exist for a reason. Underleveled = slow kills = wasted time.
Eating bad fruits: Some fruits are traps. Bomb, Spike, and Spin are not worth keeping. Reroll.
Solo raiding: Raids are designed for groups. Join a crew or use Discord to find parties.
Tips From 500 Hours
Stack XP codes: The 2x EXP codes from King Legacy Codes stack. Use all three for 75 minutes of boosted grinding.
Learn boss patterns: Every boss has tells. Doflamingo strings, Kaido breath attacks, Big Mom homie summons. Dodge first, attack second.
Join a crew: Crew buffs are significant. Even a small crew gives XP and Beli bonuses.
Don't rush Third Sea: Second Sea awakening makes Third Sea manageable. Entering at 4000 without awakening is pain.
Farm during events: Holiday events have boosted drop rates. I got Dragon fruit during a Christmas event after 12 spins.
