Skill Tree Overview
The skill tree has 5 main branches. You earn stat points by leveling up.

Each branch unlocks different abilities as you invest points.
Health Branch
Focuses on survivability. Unlocking the Health tree lets you perform parries with perfect blocks.

When to invest: Always put some points here. Survivability matters in all content.
Focus Branch
Unlocks Black Flash mechanics. Grants 3 focus bars and the ability to perform Black Flash.
Key Unlocks:

Black Flash Variants (Sparks of Black):
- M2 + Space: Launch opponent into air (or ground slam in air)
- M2 + E: Teleport to opponent, disable their RCT for 20 seconds
- M2 + R: Final kick that confiscates cursed techniques for 3 seconds
When to invest: Essential for PvP. Black Flash variants are game-changing.
Technique Branch
Unlocks cursed techniques and enhances innate damage. This is where your main damage comes from.

When to invest: Max this for damage builds. Technique damage is your main DPS source.
Strength Branch
Gives access to taijutsu and increases M1/cursed tool damage. Unlocking lets you double dash (Q) and use Rising Kick.

- Rising Kick: Strong upward kick
- Triple Kick: Three consecutive kicks
- Eagle Style: Talon Strike, Eagle Drop
- Spin Kick: Applies Fragile for 12 seconds (+17.65% damage taken)
- Uplift: Launch opponent into air
- Axe Smash: Downward kick, guard break
- Shoulder Throw, Judo Throw, Flourish Strike
When to invest: Good for Heavenly Restriction builds or if you use cursed tools heavily.
Innates Branch
Displays your equipped techniques (up to 4 with gamepasses). Each innate has different unlockables.
How it works:
- Abilities cost in-game currency
- Max-level skills cost Maximum Scroll
- Domain Expansions cost Domain Shard
- Need certain mastery level to buy/use skills
Increasing Mastery:
- Use innate technique during missions
- Gain EXP while using abilities
- Use mastery scrolls or talismans

- Simple Domain (20 points) - Counter enemy domains
- Sparks of Black - Black Flash variants
- Total Concentration - Damage boost after Black Flash
Playstyle: Land Black Flash, use variants to extend combos, burst with innate abilities.
PvE Build
PvE is about sustained damage and not dying to mobs.
Priority:
- Technique (innate damage)
- Health (tank hits)
- Strength (M1s for weak mobs)
- Focus (less important in PvE)
Key Skills:
- Slow/Burst RCT - Sustain healing
- Technique buffs - More damage
- Rib Breaker - Fragile status helps
Playstyle: Ability spam on tough enemies, M1 weak mobs, use RCT to sustain.
Boss Build
Bosses hit hard. You need to survive while dealing consistent damage.
Priority:
- Health (max survivability)
- Technique (damage)
- Focus (Black Flash for burst windows)
Key Skills:
- Hollow Wicker Basket (25 points) - Survive boss Domain Expansions
- Burst RCT - Quick heals
- Simple Domain - Counter domains
Important: If fighting Sukuna and you don’t have Domain or Simple Domain, take Hollow Wicker Basket. It lets you survive his Domain Expansion.
Innate-Specific Builds
Infinity Build
Infinity needs energy management and defensive play.
Focus on:
- Technique (innate damage)
- Health (survive while barrier is up)
- Focus (Black Flash for Six Eyes transformation)
Six Eyes Transformation requires 3 Black Flash Tokens. Invest in Focus to land them consistently.
Thunder God Build
Pure aggression. Max damage, kill fast.
Focus on:
- Technique (max burst)
- Focus (Black Flash combos)
- Health (minimal, glass cannon)
Star Rage Build
AoE damage and Mass Meter management.
Focus on:
- Technique (innate scaling)
- Health (survive while building mass)
- Strength (optional for M1s between abilities)
Demon Vessel Build
Balanced and beginner-friendly.
Focus on:
- Technique (damage)
- Health (survivability)
- Focus (Black Flash)
Universal build works perfectly.
Heavenly Restriction Build
No innate techniques. Pure physical.
Focus on:
- Strength (main damage source)
- Health (survivability)
- Focus (different Black Flash variant)
Note: Heavenly Restriction users get Chain Grab instead of Cursed Tendril.
Nightmare Boss Farming Build
For farming Special and Unique Grade loot from Nightmare bosses:
Priority:
- Technique Tree (max completely) - Main DPS
- Health (survive boss attacks)
- Hollow Wicker Basket - Survive Sukuna’s Domain
This is endgame content. You need optimized builds to survive.
Common Mistakes
Spreading points evenly. Focused builds beat jack-of-all-trades every time.
Ignoring Simple Domain. 20 points for domain counter is worth it in PvP.
Skipping Health. Glass cannon builds die. A lot.
Not unlocking Chanting. Some innates have chant abilities. You need the node to use them.
Forgetting Hollow Wicker Basket. Essential for Sukuna and other domain-using bosses.
