Ability outfits are what make Infinity Nikki unique. Your clothes aren’t just fashion statements. They’re tools that let you float, glide, catch bugs, groom animals, and more. Understanding abilities is essential for 100% exploration.
This guide covers every ability in the game, how to unlock them, and which outfits are best for each.
How Abilities Work
You can equip up to 8 abilities at once (plus the 2 default abilities). Access them through the Wardrobe menu under “Ability Setup.”
When you equip an ability outfit, you gain that ability. Switching outfits mid-exploration is common. You’ll constantly swap between floating, fishing, bug catching, etc.
Default Abilities
These two abilities are always available, no outfit required:
Floating
How to use: Jump, then press jump again mid-air
Your bread and butter for exploration. Floating lets you:
- Reach higher platforms
- Cross gaps
- Slow your descent
Every player has this from the start. Premium floating outfits add speed, distance, or special effects.
Purification
How to use: Attack button
Your combat ability. Use it to:
- Defeat Esselings (enemies)
- Collect Dew of Inspiration
- Perform plunging attacks
The basic version works fine. Premium purification outfits have better range and damage.
