Best Hypershot weapons: Vectorstrike (760 DPS), Minigun (750 DPS), AA-12 (high burst), Barrett (one-shot sniper), and Drakonova (best AR). These five dominate the current meta.
I've tested every weapon in Hypershot across 200+ hours. DPS matters, but so does handling, range, and how the gun fits your playstyle. This tier list reflects actual performance, not just stat sheets.

S-Tier Weapons
Vectorstrike (SMG)
DPS: 760 (highest in game) Cost: Premium
The undisputed king of close-range combat. The Vectorstrike melts anyone within 15 meters. The recoil is manageable, the fire rate is insane, and the TTK is unmatched.
Best for: Aggressive rushers, objective modes, duels Pair with: Tailwind, Auto Reload
Minigun (Misc)
DPS: 750 Cost: Premium
Second-highest DPS with massive magazine size. The spin-up time is the only downside. Once firing, you're a walking death machine.
Best for: Holding positions, suppression, TDM Pair with: Photon Shield, Regen Splash
Barrett (Sniper)
DPS: N/A (one-shot) Cost: Premium
300 damage to any body part. One shot, one kill. The Barrett rewards precision and punishes misses. Single-round magazine means you need to hit.
Best for: Long-range picks, patient players Pair with: Transcend (for escapes after shots)
AA-12 (Shotgun)
DPS: High burst Cost: Premium
Automatic shotgun that dominates tight spaces. The spread is wide, the fire rate is fast, and grouped enemies evaporate. Auto Reload removes the only weakness.
Best for: CTF, close quarters, objective defense Pair with: Auto Reload, Regen Splash
Drakonova (AR)
DPS: ~550 Cost: Premium
The best assault rifle in the game. Balanced damage, range, and handling. Consistent at all distances. If you want one AR, it's this one.
Best for: All-around combat, any mode Pair with: Photon Shield, Auto Reload
A-Tier Weapons
P90 (SMG)
DPS: 672 Cost: Mid-tier
Third-highest DPS with a massive magazine. Less accurate than Vectorstrike but more forgiving. Great for spray-and-pray players.
Best for: Aggressive play, new players Pair with: Explosive Bullets passive
AK (AR)
DPS: 450 Cost: Cheap/Free
The best budget weapon in the game. Solid DPS, reliable recoil, works at medium range. Use this until you can afford S-tier options.
Best for: Beginners, budget builds Pair with: Any abilities
Pulsar SMG
DPS: ~600 Cost: Mid-tier
Energy weapon with unique handling. High damage, moderate fire rate. Feels different from other SMGs but performs well.
Best for: Players who want variety Pair with: Movement abilities
Punisher (Secondary)
DPS: High for secondary Cost: Mid-tier
The best secondary weapon. Reliable backup when your primary runs dry. Some players main it.
Best for: Secondary slot, emergency situations Pair with: Any primary
M4A1 (AR)
DPS: ~480 Cost: Mid-tier
Classic assault rifle feel. Slightly better handling than AK, slightly lower damage. Personal preference between the two.
Best for: Medium range, consistent damage Pair with: Standard ability setups
B-Tier Weapons
SCAR (AR)
Solid AR with good range. Outclassed by Drakonova but still competitive.
MP5 (SMG)
Classic SMG. Lower DPS than top options but easy to control.
Spas-12 (Shotgun)
Pump shotgun with high single-shot damage. Slower than AA-12 but hits harder per shot.
AWP (Sniper)
One-shot sniper like Barrett but with different handling. Personal preference.
Deagle (Secondary)
High-damage pistol. Rewards accuracy, punishes misses.
C-Tier Weapons
UMP (SMG)
Lower fire rate SMG. Outclassed by P90 and Vectorstrike.
M16 (AR)
Burst-fire AR. Inconsistent compared to full-auto options.
Pump Shotgun
Slower than Spas-12 with similar damage. No reason to use this.
Kar98k (Sniper)
Bolt-action sniper. Barrett does the same job better.
Glock (Secondary)
Standard pistol. Punisher is better in every way.
D-Tier Weapons
Starter weapons and niche picks that get outclassed by everything above. Use these only if you have nothing else.

What to Unlock First
If you're new and have limited coins:
- AK - Cheap, competitive, reliable
- Auto Reload ability - Quality of life
- Vectorstrike or AA-12 - Your first S-tier weapon
- Punisher - Best secondary
Don't waste coins on C or D tier weapons. Save for the good stuff.
DPS vs Handling
Raw DPS isn't everything. Consider:
- Recoil - Can you control it?
- Range - Does it fit your playstyle?
- Magazine size - How often do you reload?
- Fire rate - Spray or precision?
The Vectorstrike has the highest DPS but requires close range. The Drakonova has lower DPS but works everywhere. Pick based on how you play.
Meta Shifts
Frosted Studio balances weapons regularly. Current meta favors:
- High DPS SMGs for aggressive play
- Barrett for long-range control
- AA-12 for objective modes
This may change with future updates. I'll update this tier list when the meta shifts.
