GPO Race Tier List (2026)

Mink is the best race in GPO for most players. 5% spawn rate, Electro fighting style access, and solid base stats. After 400+ hours and rolling every race multiple times, Mink offers the best balance of power and accessibility.

Cyborg and Dullahan are technically stronger but at 1% spawn rates, you'll burn through hundreds of rerolls chasing them. Mink at 5% is realistic to get and still top-tier.

Quick Race Tier List

Tier Race Spawn Rate
S Mink 5%
S Fishman 5%
A Cyborg 1%
A Dullahan 1%
B Vampire 5%
B Skypian 15%
C Human 68%

S-tier races have the best fighting style access and stats. A-tier are powerful but nearly impossible to roll. B-tier are situational. C-tier is your starting point.

S Tier Races

Mink (5% spawn rate)

The meta race for a reason. Mink gives you access to Electro and its upgrade Moonlight Electro, two of the strongest fighting styles in GPO.

Base stats:

  • +15% movement speed
  • Night vision
  • Electro fighting style access

Why S-tier: Electro is a top 3 fighting style. The speed boost helps in PvP and grinding. Night vision is quality of life. At 5% spawn rate, you can realistically roll this within 20-30 rerolls.

I got Mink on my 23rd reroll. Immediately felt the speed difference while grinding. Electro carried me through mid-game until I could afford better weapons.

Best builds: Electro main, hybrid sword/Electro, PvP focused

Fishman (5% spawn rate)

The underwater king. Fishman gives you Fishman Karate access and water breathing, which matters more than you'd think in a One Piece game.

Base stats:

  • Underwater breathing
  • +50% swim speed
  • Fishman Karate fighting style access

Why S-tier: Fishman Karate and its upgrade Abyssal Karate are strong fighting styles. Water breathing lets you access underwater content without drowning. The swim speed makes sea travel faster.

Sea content is a huge part of GPO. Fishman makes it painless. I spent 3 hours on my Human character doing what took 45 minutes on my Fishman alt.

Best builds: Fishman Karate main, sea exploration, underwater boss farming

A Tier Races

Cyborg (1% spawn rate)

The rarest useful race. Cyborg gives you Cyborg Style access and mechanical abilities that look sick and perform well.

Base stats:

  • Cyborg Style fighting style access
  • Mechanical abilities
  • Unique appearance

Why A-tier (not S): Cyborg Style is strong, but 1% spawn rate means you'll likely never roll it naturally. I've used 150+ rerolls across accounts and hit Cyborg once. The fighting style is good but not so broken that it's worth hundreds of rerolls.

If you roll Cyborg naturally, keep it. Don't burn rerolls chasing it specifically.

Best builds: Cyborg Style main, PvP focused

Dullahan (1% spawn rate)

The headless race. Dullahan gives you Dullahan Style access and a unique headless appearance.

Base stats:

  • Dullahan Style fighting style access
  • Headless appearance
  • Unique abilities

Why A-tier: Same problem as Cyborg. Dullahan Style is solid but 1% spawn rate makes it impractical to chase. The headless look is cool for fashion but doesn't affect gameplay.

Best builds: Dullahan Style main, fashion builds

B Tier Races

Vampire (5% spawn rate)

The sustain race. Vampire gives you life steal and Vampire Style access, plus you take damage in sunlight.

Base stats:

  • Life steal on attacks
  • Vampire Style fighting style access
  • Sunlight damage (downside)

Why B-tier: Life steal sounds good but the sunlight damage is annoying. You're constantly taking chip damage during daytime, which is half the game. Vampire Style is decent but not worth the downside for most players.

I played Vampire for 50 hours. The life steal helped in long fights but I got tired of watching my health tick down every sunny moment.

Best builds: Night grinding, sustained PvP, Vampire Style main

Skypian (15% spawn rate)

The mobility race. Skypian gives you a glide ability and slightly better jump height.

Base stats:

  • Glide ability
  • Increased jump height
  • No fighting style access

Why B-tier: Glide is useful for exploration but doesn't help in combat. No exclusive fighting style means you're just a Human with a glide. At 15% spawn rate, you'll roll this often while trying for something better.

Best builds: Exploration, casual play

C Tier Races

Human (68% spawn rate)

The default. Human has no special abilities, no exclusive fighting styles, and no stat bonuses. You start as Human and should reroll as soon as you get race rerolls.

Base stats:

  • None
  • No fighting style access
  • No special abilities

Why C-tier: Human is the baseline. Every other race is better. The only reason to stay Human is if you've burned all your rerolls and haven't hit anything else.

Best builds: None. Reroll when possible.

Race Spawn Rates

Race Spawn Rate Rerolls to Expect
Human 68% 1-2
Skypian 15% 5-7
Fishman 5% 15-25
Mink 5% 15-25
Vampire 5% 15-25
Cyborg 1% 80-120
Dullahan 1% 80-120

These are averages. RNG can be cruel. I've seen players hit Cyborg on their 3rd reroll and others go 200+ without seeing it.

Which Race for Which Fighting Style?

Fighting Style Required Race
Electro Mink
Moonlight Electro Mink
Fishman Karate Fishman
Abyssal Karate Fishman
Cyborg Style Cyborg
Dullahan Style Dullahan
Vampire Style Vampire

If you want a specific fighting style, you need the matching race. No exceptions. Plan your race around your desired build.

How to Change Race

Race Rerolls from codes or the shop let you randomly change your race. You can't pick which race you get.

Steps:

  1. Get race rerolls from GPO codes or shop
  2. Open your inventory
  3. Use the race reroll item
  4. Hope for a good roll

Save your rerolls for when you have multiple. Using one at a time is painful when you keep hitting Skypian.

Race Reroll Strategy

Don't chase 1% races. Cyborg and Dullahan are cool but the odds are brutal. Set a reroll budget (20-30) and take whatever S or A tier you hit.

Mink or Fishman first. Both are S-tier at 5% spawn rate. Either one sets you up for mid and late game.

Keep Vampire if you roll it. 5% spawn rate and the life steal has uses. Better than rerolling into Skypian.

Never keep Skypian or Human. Always reroll these. The glide isn't worth giving up fighting style access.

Common Mistakes

Burning 100+ rerolls for Cyborg. The math doesn't work out. You'll likely get Mink or Fishman multiple times before hitting Cyborg once. Take the S-tier and move on.

Ignoring race requirements for fighting styles. Decided you want Electro? You need Mink. No Mink, no Electro. Check requirements before committing to a build.

Staying Human "until you get something good." Reroll immediately. Even Skypian is better than Human. Don't grind hundreds of hours on the worst race.

Rerolling away from Mink/Fishman for Cyborg. If you hit an S-tier, stop. Cyborg isn't that much better, and you might never see it.

Best Race for Each Playstyle
