Fisch Enchants Tier List (January 2026)

Enchants can make or break your fishing experience in Fisch. I’ve burned through probably 100+ Enchant Relics testing different combinations. Some enchants are game-changing. Others are complete garbage. This tier list ranks them all so you don’t waste your relics.

Here’s the thing: the “best” enchant depends on what you’re doing. Hasty is god-tier for grinding but useless for legendary hunting. Lucky is the opposite. I’ll break down which enchants work best for each situation.

How Enchanting Works

Before we dive in, here’s a quick refresher on the enchanting system.

Getting Enchant Relics:

  • Fish them up (look for cyan exclamation mark)
  • The Depths has the highest drop rate
  • Some events give free relics

Using Enchant Relics:

  1. Go to Statue of Sovereignty
  2. Find Cole in the mines, pay 400 C$
  3. Take the elevator to Keepers Altar
  4. Wait for nighttime (altar only works at night)
  5. Equip the rod you want to enchant
  6. Use the relic at the altar

The enchant you get is random. You might need multiple relics to get what you want.

S-Tier Enchants (The Best)

These are the enchants you want. Keep them when you get them.

Hasty

EffectValue
Lure Speed+25%
Best ForGrinding, XP farming

Why S-Tier: More bites per minute equals more fish equals more money and XP. This is the meta enchant for grinding. I have Hasty on my main farming rod and it’s a massive difference.

Best Rods: Mythical Rod, Rod of the Depths, any grinding rod

Lucky

EffectValue
Luck+15%
Best ForLegendary hunting, rare fish

Why S-Tier: Luck directly increases your chance of catching rare fish. When you’re hunting mythicals or exotics, every percentage point matters. This is essential for Scylla, Frostwyrm, and other boss fish.

Best Rods: Trident Rod, Rod of the Depths, any hunting rod

Abyssal

EffectValue
Luck+20% (in deep water)
Best ForMariana’s Veil, The Depths

Why S-Tier: The +20% luck in deep water is insane. If you’re farming Mariana’s Veil (which you should be for endgame money), this is arguably better than Lucky.

Best Rods: Rod of the Depths, any submarine rod

Celestial

EffectValue
Luck+15% (at night)
Lure Speed+10% (at night)
Best ForNight fishing

Why S-Tier: Many valuable fish spawn at night. Getting both luck AND lure speed bonuses during night fishing is excellent value. I use this on my night hunting rod.

Best Rods: Trident Rod, Mythical Rod

A-Tier Enchants (Excellent)

Very good enchants that are worth keeping.

Sea Overlord

EffectValue
Fish Size+25%
Best ForMoney making

Why A-Tier: Bigger fish sell for more. A 25% size increase means 25% more money per catch. This adds up fast over hundreds of fish.

Best Rods: Any money farming rod

Resilient

EffectValue
Line Break Chance-30%
Best ForHeavy fish, boss fights

Why A-Tier: Nothing worse than hooking a legendary and having your line snap. Resilient prevents that. Essential for Megalodon, Scylla, and other heavy catches.

Best Rods: King’s Rod, Kraken Rod, any heavy fish rod

Heavyweight

EffectValue
Weight Limit+5000 KG
Best ForHeavy fish

Why A-Tier: Some fish are literally uncatchable without enough weight capacity. This enchant lets mid-tier rods catch fish they normally couldn’t.

Best Rods: Mythical Rod, Long Rod, any rod with low weight limit

Piercing

EffectValue
EffectStuns fish during minigame
Best ForDifficult catches

Why A-Tier: Makes the reeling minigame easier by stunning fish. Great for players who struggle with the minigame or for notoriously difficult fish like Scylla.

Best Rods: Any rod used for difficult fish

Anomalous

EffectValue
Effect10% chance to catch same fish twice
BonusSecond fish has 2.5x sell value
Best ForMoney making

Why A-Tier: Free extra fish with bonus value. Over time, this adds up to significant extra income. Works best on high-value fish.

Best Rods: Money farming rods

B-Tier Enchants (Good)

Solid enchants that are useful in specific situations.

Blessed

EffectValue
Mutation Chance+2% Sparkling/Shiny
Best ForMutation hunting

Why B-Tier: Mutations multiply fish value. A 2% boost isn’t huge but it’s consistent extra money. Better than nothing.

Best Rods: Any rod

Rainy

EffectValue
Luck+15% (during rain)
Best ForRain fishing

Why B-Tier: Good bonus but weather-dependent. You can’t control when it rains, so this is inconsistent. Still useful when conditions align.

Best Rods: Any rod

Stormy

EffectValue
Luck+20% (during storms)
Best ForStorm fishing

Why B-Tier: Better bonus than Rainy but even more situational. Storms are rarer than rain.

Best Rods: Any rod

Invincible

EffectValue
EffectCan fish in Brine Pools/Roslit Volcano
Best ForSpecific locations

Why B-Tier: Required for certain areas but useless everywhere else. Keep one rod with this enchant for when you need it.

Best Rods: Reinforced Rod, Magma Rod

Tidal

EffectValue
Luck+10% (ocean)
Best ForOcean fishing

Why B-Tier: Decent luck boost for ocean areas. Not as good as Lucky but still useful.

Best Rods: Any ocean fishing rod

C-Tier Enchants (Situational)

These have niche uses but aren’t generally recommended.

Experienced

EffectValue
XP Gain+15%
Best ForLeveling

Why C-Tier: XP isn’t that important once you’re past early game. Money and rare fish matter more. Only useful if you’re specifically grinding levels.

Best Rods: Early game rods

Wealthy

EffectValue
Sell Value+10%
Best ForMoney making

Why C-Tier: Sounds good but 10% is small. Sea Overlord’s 25% size boost is better for money. This is a trap enchant.

Best Rods: Skip this

Controlled

EffectValue
ControlImproved
Best ForMinigame

Why C-Tier: Makes the minigame slightly easier but Piercing is better for this purpose. Not worth a slot.

Best Rods: Skip this

Speedy

EffectValue
Lure Speed+10%
Best ForGrinding

Why C-Tier: Hasty gives +25%. Why would you use this?

Best Rods: Skip this, get Hasty instead

D-Tier Enchants (Avoid)

Don’t keep these. Re-roll if you get them.

Unlucky

EffectValue
Luck-10%
“Benefit”Slightly faster lure
Best ForNothing

Why D-Tier: Negative luck is never worth it. The lure speed boost doesn’t compensate. Avoid.

Fragile

EffectValue
Line Break Chance+20%
“Benefit”Slightly more luck
Best ForNothing

Why D-Tier: More line breaks means lost fish. The luck boost isn’t worth the frustration.

Cursed

EffectValue
EffectRandom negative effects
Best ForNothing

Why D-Tier: Why would you want random negative effects? Skip.

My Personal Setup

I run multiple rods with different enchants:

  1. Mythical Rod + Hasty - Daily grinding, XP farming
  2. Trident Rod + Lucky - Legendary hunting
  3. Rod of the Depths + Abyssal - Mariana’s Veil
  4. Reinforced Rod + Invincible - Volcanic areas

This covers every situation I encounter.

Tips for Enchanting

Farm relics in The Depths. Highest drop rate for Enchant Relics.

Don’t waste relics on bad rods. Enchant your best rods first.

Keep multiple rods. Different enchants for different purposes.

Night time only. The Keepers Altar only works at night. Don’t waste a trip.

Save before enchanting. If you get a bad enchant, you can’t remove it. The relic is consumed.
