Dandy's World Trinkets Tier List (January 2026)

I ran without Trinkets for my first 10 hours. Didn’t even know they existed. Then I equipped Vanity Mirror and Participation Award and suddenly Floor 15+ became manageable.

Trinkets are equippable items that buff your Toon. You can equip two before each floor. The right combination can make or break your run.

This Dandy’s World Trinkets tier list ranks every Trinket based on the current meta. Unlock them by researching Twisteds or completing Mastery quests.

Quick Tier List

TierTrinkets
SVanity Mirror, Participation Award, Dandy Plush, Dog Plush, Spare Bulb
AFriendship Bracelet, Bone, Magnifying Glass, Savory Charm, Vee’s Remote
BBlue Bandana, Brick, Party Popper, Fishing Rod, Lucky Coin
CRibbon Spool, Diary, Fancy Purse, Train Whistle, Mime Makeup
DCrayon Set, Thermos, Thinking Cap

S Tier - Always Useful

Equip these whenever possible. They’re good on every Toon in every situation.

Vanity Mirror

Effect: Highlights nearby Twisteds through walls

Why S Tier: Information is everything. Knowing where Twisteds are lets you plan routes, avoid detection, and extract safely. Organized teams often have everyone except Pebble run this.

Best on: Everyone except Pebble (who has Fetch! for item detection)

Participation Award

Effect: Increases extraction speed

Why S Tier: Faster extractions mean less time exposed. Less time exposed means fewer deaths. Simple math.

Best on: High extraction Toons (Vee, Glisten, Yatta, Gourdy)

Dandy Plush

Effect: Reduces Dandy’s Shop prices

Why S Tier: Cheaper items mean more resources. More resources mean better survival. Essential for long runs.

Best on: Anyone who buys from Dandy’s Shop (everyone)

Note: Value decreases past Floor 15-25 when you have enough Tapes anyway.

Dog Plush

Effect: Movement speed boost

Why S Tier: Speed saves lives. Escape Twisteds faster, reposition quicker, reach the elevator sooner.

Best on: Slower Toons (Vee, Shrimpo, Scraps)

Spare Bulb

Effect: Blackout protection (see during blackouts)

Why S Tier: Blackouts are deadly. Being able to see when others can’t is a massive advantage.

Best on: Everyone when Brightney or blackout-heavy floors are expected

A Tier - Situationally Excellent

Great in specific situations or on specific Toons.

Friendship Bracelet

Effect: Resistance to Goob’s pull ability

Why A Tier: Twisted Goob pulls you across the map. This counters that. Essential when Goob spawns.

Best on: Anyone when Twisted Goob is active

Bone

Effect: Stamina boost

Why A Tier: More stamina means more sprinting. More sprinting means better escapes.

Best on: Low stamina Toons (Gigi, Gourdy, Shrimpo)

Magnifying Glass

Effect: Spot fake items (Rodger traps)

Why A Tier: Rodger hides in fake Research Capsules. Picking the wrong one applies debuffs. This prevents that.

Best on: Item collectors, anyone on Rodger floors

Savory Charm

Effect: Reduces Sprout tendril damage

Why A Tier: Twisted Sprout spawns deadly tendrils. This makes them less deadly.

Best on: Anyone when Twisted Sprout is active

Vee’s Remote

Effect: Reduces Vee’s pop-up ad duration

Why A Tier: Twisted Vee’s pop-up ads are annoying and dangerous. Faster dismissal helps.

Best on: Anyone when Twisted Vee is active

B Tier - Decent Options

Solid choices when S and A tier aren’t available or relevant.

Blue Bandana

Effect: Slight damage reduction

Why B Tier: Damage reduction is always useful, just not as impactful as other options.

Best on: Tanky playstyles, Soulvester

Brick

Effect: Slight health boost

Why B Tier: More health is good. Not exciting, but reliable.

Best on: Anyone who takes hits often

Party Popper

Effect: Slight ability cooldown reduction

Why B Tier: Faster abilities are nice. Impact depends on your Toon’s ability.

Best on: Toons with impactful abilities (Goob, Flutter, Connie)

Fishing Rod

Effect: Grants 3 random items (Common to Rare)

Why B Tier: Free items are good. RNG-based though.

Best on: Anyone who wants extra resources

Lucky Coin

Effect: Increased rare item drop chance

Why B Tier: More rare items over time. Long-term value.

Best on: Grinders, item collectors

C Tier - Niche Uses

Only useful in specific situations. Generally outclassed.

Ribbon Spool

Effect: Slight stealth boost

Why C Tier: Stealth helps avoid detection, but other Trinkets provide more value.

Best on: Low stealth Toons (Brightney, Shrimpo)

Diary

Effect: Flutter-specific buff

Why C Tier: Only useful on Flutter. Too narrow.

Best on: Flutter only

Fancy Purse

Effect: Teagan-specific buff

Why C Tier: Only useful on Teagan. Too narrow.

Best on: Teagan only

Train Whistle

Effect: Dyle-specific counter

Why C Tier: Only useful against Twisted Dyle. Too situational.

Best on: Anyone when Twisted Dyle spawns

Mime Makeup

Effect: Blot-specific buff

Why C Tier: Only useful on Blot. Too narrow.

Best on: Blot only

D Tier - Skip These

Weak effects. Use only if you have nothing else.

Crayon Set

Effect: Slight Skill Check buff

Why D Tier: Skill checks aren’t hard enough to need this. Practice instead.

Thermos

Effect: Stamina restore on new floor

Why D Tier: You start floors with full stamina anyway. Minimal value.

Thinking Cap

Effect: Slight Skill Check window increase

Why D Tier: Same problem as Crayon Set. Skill checks aren’t the bottleneck.

Optimal Trinket Combos

General Purpose

Vanity Mirror + Participation Award

See Twisteds, extract faster. Works on everyone.

Speed Build

Dog Plush + Bone

Maximum mobility. Great for scouts and Pebble.

Extraction Build

Participation Award + Vanity Mirror

Fastest extractions with safety awareness.

Survival Build

Spare Bulb + Friendship Bracelet

Counter blackouts and Goob pulls. Defensive.

Budget Build (Early Game)

Whatever you have + Whatever else you have

Any Trinkets are better than none. Don’t stress about optimization until you have options.

How to Unlock Trinkets

Research Twisteds: Use the Research Camera to photograph them. 100% research unlocks their Trinket.

Mastery Quests: Complete Toon-specific challenges.

Dandy’s Shop: Some Trinkets are purchasable.

Research Priority

Start with Common Twisteds. They’re easiest to photograph safely.

One photo per floor. Closer photos give more percentage.

Don’t die or you lose progress for that run.
