Chop Your Tree is my current idle game addiction. Simple Bricks made something stupidly satisfying here. Water tree, chop tree, get coins, buy upgrades, repeat. I’ve left it running in the background for hours. My tree is massive now.
If you’re here for codes though, I have disappointing news.
Current Code Status
Chop Your Tree does not have codes yet.
The game doesn’t have a code redemption system implemented. No menu, no button, nothing. This is common for newer idle games on Roblox. Devs usually add codes after the core loop is solid.
I check daily. When codes drop, this page updates immediately.
What is Chop Your Tree?
An idle tree chopping simulator. Sounds boring on paper. In practice? Weirdly addictive.
The gameplay loop is simple:
- Water your tree to make it grow
- Chop it down for coins
- Buy machines and upgrades
- Prestige for permanent Void upgrades
- Repeat but faster
The game has that “one more upgrade” pull that keeps you clicking. Or not clicking, since machines do the work eventually.
Watering Can Tips
Your watering can is everything early game. Here’s what I learned after wasting coins on the wrong stuff.
Upgrade capacity first. More water per fill means less running back and forth. I ignored this for my first 2 hours. Mistake.
Water before you AFK. Trees grow while you’re away but only if they have water. Dry tree = no growth = wasted time.
Positioning matters. Stand close to the tree trunk. The water hitbox is weird. I’ve missed pours standing too far back.
Don’t spam click. Hold the button. Smoother watering, less carpal tunnel.
Machine Priority Guide
Machines automate the grind. But which ones first? Here’s my priority list after 3 prestiges.
Buy First
Auto Chopper is your #1 priority. Chops the tree automatically. This is the game changer. Everything else is secondary until you have this.
Auto Waterer comes second. Keeps your tree hydrated while you’re gone. Combined with Auto Chopper? True idle gameplay.
Buy Second
Coin Collector grabs coins automatically. Nice quality of life but not essential early.
Growth Booster speeds up tree growth. Good multiplier on your income.
Buy Later
Everything else is gravy. Upgrade what you have before buying new machines. A maxed Auto Chopper beats three level 1 machines.
Prestige System Explained
Here’s the thing about prestige. It resets your progress but gives Void currency for permanent upgrades. Scary at first. Worth it long term.
When to prestige:
- First prestige around 10,000 coins (rough estimate)
- Each prestige should give meaningful Void currency
- Don’t prestige for tiny gains
Void upgrades to prioritize:
- Coin multipliers (more coins = faster rebuilding)
- Growth speed (bigger tree faster)
- Machine efficiency (better automation)
I was scared to prestige my first time. Lost everything. Rebuilt in 20 minutes. Second run was 3x faster. Third run? Even faster. That’s the point.
Why No Codes Yet?
Simple Bricks is a smaller developer. The game is still growing. Codes typically come after:
- Player milestone celebrations
- Major updates
- Holiday events
- YouTuber partnerships
Chop Your Tree is gaining traction. Codes will probably happen. Just not yet.
Where to Find New Codes
When codes eventually drop:
- Simple Bricks Discord (fastest source)
- Roblox game description updates
- Twitter/X announcements
- In-game news popups
I monitor these daily. Bookmark this page.
Is It Worth Playing Without Codes?
Honestly? Yeah. The game is fun without freebies. The progression feels good. Upgrades are satisfying. It’s a solid idle game.
Codes would be nice for a boost but you’re not missing anything essential right now.
