Blox Fruits Awakening Guide (January 2026)

Awakening in 30 seconds: Reach level 1100, buy a raid chip for 100k Beli, finish the raid with your fruit equipped, spend Fragments at the Mysterious Entity. Each fruit has 5 moves to awaken. Total cost ranges from 14,500 to 64,500 Fragments depending on the fruit.

I've awakened 8 fruits across my accounts. Buddha took me 3 hours solo. Dough took a full day with help. The difficulty varies wildly, but the process is the same.

Requirements

  • Level 1100+ (to host raids)
  • 100,000 Beli per raid chip
  • The fruit you want to awaken equipped
  • Fragments (earned from raids)

You can join raids at lower levels, but hosting requires 1100. Find someone to host if you're under-leveled.

Step-by-Step Process

Step 1: Buy a Raid Chip

Find the Mysterious Scientist in the Second Sea. He's in a hidden lab on the Hot and Cold island (cold side, behind a wall).

Raid chips cost 100,000 Beli each. You need one chip per raid attempt.

Step 2: Start the Raid

Interact with the Mysterious Scientist and select your fruit's raid. The raid teleports you and up to 3 other players to an arena.

Solo or team? Most raids are soloable with Buddha. Harder raids (Dough, Rumble) benefit from teammates.

Step 3: Complete 5 Waves

Each raid has 5 waves of increasingly difficult enemies. Kill everything before the timer runs out.

Wave breakdown:

  • Waves 1-2: Easy warmup
  • Waves 3-4: Moderate difficulty
  • Wave 5: Boss wave, significantly harder

If you fail, you lose the raid chip. No refunds.

Step 4: Talk to Mysterious Entity

After completing the raid, you're teleported to a room with the Mysterious Entity. Talk to them to awaken one move.

You can only awaken moves in order. Can't skip to the best move.

Step 5: Repeat for All Moves

Each fruit has 5 moves. You need to complete 5 successful raids (minimum) to fully awaken a fruit.

Fragment Costs by Fruit

Fragments are earned from raids. You get Fragments whether you awaken or not, so failed attempts still give progress.

Fruit Move 1 Move 2 Move 3 Move 4 Move 5 Total
Flame 500 3,000 4,000 5,000 2,000 14,500
Ice 500 3,000 4,000 5,000 2,000 14,500
Light 500 3,000 4,000 5,000 2,000 14,500
Magma 500 3,000 4,000 5,000 2,000 14,500
Quake 1,000 3,000 5,000 8,000 2,000 19,000
Buddha 1,000 3,000 5,000 8,000 2,000 19,000
Dark 500 3,000 4,000 5,000 2,000 14,500
String 500 3,000 4,000 5,000 2,000 14,500
Phoenix 1,000 3,000 5,000 8,000 2,000 19,000
Rumble 1,000 3,000 5,000 8,000 2,000 19,000
Dough 500 8,000 14,000 18,000 24,000 64,500
Sand 500 3,000 4,000 5,000 2,000 14,500

Dough is the most expensive by far. Budget accordingly.

Raid Difficulty Rankings

Easy (Soloable with Buddha)

Flame, Ice, Light, Magma, Dark, Sand

These raids have predictable enemy patterns and manageable damage. Buddha's damage reduction makes them trivial. I cleared Flame raid on my first try without knowing what I was doing.

Solo strategy: Turn into Buddha, stand in the middle, spam M1 attacks. Enemies die before they can hurt you.

Medium (Soloable with Practice)

Buddha, String, Phoenix, Quake

Slightly harder enemy types. Still soloable but requires paying attention. I failed Buddha raid twice before getting the timing down.

Buddha raid specifically: Ironic that Buddha is medium difficulty to awaken. The enemies hit harder than other medium raids.

Rumble, Dough

Dough raid is notorious. Enemies have high HP, deal massive damage, and the boss wave is brutal. I wiped 6 times solo before giving up and finding a team.

Dough strategy: Bring 2-3 teammates. One Buddha tank, one or two DPS fruits. Focus fire the boss.

Which Fruits to Awaken First

Priority 1: Buddha (if you grind)

Buddha awakening improves your grinding efficiency. The awakened shift ability is better for farming. I noticed about 20% faster clear times after awakening.

Cost: 19,000 Fragments Difficulty: Medium Worth it: Absolutely

Priority 2: Dough (if you PvP)

Dough goes from B-tier to S-tier after awakening. The awakened moves have massive hitboxes and insane damage. I've seen players go from struggling in PvP to dominating after awakening Dough.

Cost: 64,500 Fragments Difficulty: Hard Worth it: Yes, but expensive

Priority 3: Light (budget option)

Light awakening is cheap and improves an already fast fruit. Good for players who can't afford Dough yet.

Cost: 14,500 Fragments Difficulty: Easy Worth it: Decent value

Skip: Flame, Ice, Magma

These awakenings are fine but the fruits themselves are outclassed. Don't waste Fragments unless you main them. I made this mistake early and regret the wasted Fragments.

Solo Buddha Raid Strategy

Since Buddha is the most common awakening target, here's the detailed solo method I used:

Setup:

  • Buddha fruit equipped
  • 2000+ Melee stats
  • 1000+ Defense stats
  • Any sword with decent damage

Wave 1-2: Turn into Buddha immediately. Stand in spawn area. M1 spam. Enemies die fast.

Wave 3-4: Same strategy but watch your health. Pop out of Buddha form briefly if you need to heal (the form has a cooldown).

Wave 5 (Boss): The boss hits hard. Kite around the arena while attacking. Don't face-tank the entire fight. Use your sword's ranged attacks if available.

Time: 15-20 minutes per raid once you're comfortable.

Fragment Farming

Need Fragments but don't want to awaken yet? Raids still give Fragments on completion.

Fragment rewards:

  • Easy raids: 250-500 Fragments
  • Medium raids: 500-750 Fragments
  • Hard raids: 750-1000 Fragments

Efficient farming: Run easy raids (Flame, Light) repeatedly. Fast completion = more Fragments per hour.

Common Mistakes

Starting raids under-leveled. Level 1100 is the minimum for a reason. Lower levels get destroyed.

Solo-ing Dough raid. It's technically possible but not worth the frustration. Find teammates.

Awakening the wrong fruit first. Buddha for grinding, Dough for PvP. Don't awaken Flame just because it's easy.

Forgetting raid chips. Each attempt costs 100k Beli. Stock up before grinding raids.

Ignoring Fragment costs. Dough costs 64,500 Fragments. That's 60+ successful raids worth. Plan accordingly.

Finding Raid Teams

Blox Fruits Discord: The official Discord has raid channels. Post your level and fruit, find teammates.

In-game chat: Type "LF [fruit] raid" in Second/Third Sea servers. Players respond quickly.

Friends: The best option. Consistent teammates make raids trivial.
