Blade Battle is one of those survival games that hooks you fast. I jumped in expecting another generic combat game and ended up grinding for 3 hours straight. The blade combat feels tight, the survival mechanics keep you on edge, and the upgrade system is surprisingly deep.
The premise is simple. Survive. Upgrade your blade. Eliminate everyone else. But the execution? Way better than most Roblox combat games I’ve played this year.

The UPD2 code alone gives you 5,000 gems. That’s enough to get a decent blade upgrade right out of the gate. I burned through my first 10 matches without redeeming codes and regretted it immediately.
How to Redeem Codes
- Launch Blade Battle and wait for the game to fully load
- Look for the ABX button on the left side of your screen
- Click it to open the code redemption menu
- Type or paste your code exactly as shown
- Click Verify to claim your rewards
Codes are case sensitive. UPD2 works. upd2 doesn’t. I failed the HAPPY code twice before realizing I typed it lowercase. Classic.
Best Redemption Order
Here’s how I’d redeem these if I was starting fresh:
First: UPD2 for the 5,000 gems. Upgrade your blade immediately. Better blade = longer survival = more rewards per match.
Second: UPD1 for the EXP buff. Only 3 minutes, so redeem this right before you queue into a match. Don’t waste it sitting in the lobby like I did.
Third: HAPPY and CODE for the free spins. Spins can give you anything from common items to rare blade skins. RNG is RNG, but free is free.
Blade Upgrade Tips
After grinding this game for a while, here’s what actually matters.
Prioritize damage over speed early. A slower blade that hits hard will carry you further than a fast blade that tickles. I learned this after losing 15 matches in a row with a speed build.
Save gems for major upgrades. Don’t blow your 5,000 gems on small incremental boosts. Wait until you can afford a significant tier jump.
Learn the attack patterns. Every blade type has different swing speeds and hitboxes. Spend time in matches actually learning your weapon instead of button mashing.
Positioning wins fights. The best blade in the game won’t save you if you’re surrounded. Stay mobile, pick your battles, and don’t get greedy.
Survival Strategy
Look, the combat is only half the game. Surviving long enough to use your blade matters more.
Don’t engage early. Let other players fight each other. Third partying is a legitimate strategy. I’ve won matches where I only fought 2 people because everyone else eliminated each other.
Watch the zone. The play area shrinks over time. Getting caught outside the safe zone while fighting someone is embarrassing. Ask me how I know.
Collect pickups. Health, gems, and power ups spawn around the map. Grabbing these between fights keeps you topped off.
