I put together this Arise Ragnarok guide after 30+ hours in the first 4 days since the Christmas release. The game dropped and I’ve been no-lifing it since. Here’s everything from class selection to endgame dungeons.
The game is basically Arise Crossover 2.0. Same developers, same Solo Leveling inspiration, but with proper classes, races, and a completely revamped combat system. If you played the original, forget half of what you learned. This is a different beast.
What is Arise Ragnarok?
Arise Ragnarok is an anime-inspired action RPG on Roblox. You pick a class, choose a race, defeat enemies, and “arise” them as shadows that fight alongside you. The game combines traditional RPG progression with the shadow army mechanic from Solo Leveling.
Key features:
- 5 Classes with unique playstyles
- Races that give passive bonuses
- Shadow System to build your army
- Dungeons with rare drops
- PvP Battles to test your build
- Mining System for gear upgrades
- Trading System for the economy
- Bi-weekly Updates every 15 days
The game has 6.4M+ visits and 32K favorites in just 4 days. It’s growing fast.
Choosing Your Class
You pick a class at the start. Class rerolls are currently free during beta, so experiment until you find what clicks.
Classes Overview
| Class | Role | Playstyle | Difficulty |
|---|---|---|---|
| Assassin | DPS | Fast melee burst | Medium |
| Mage | DPS | Ranged AoE | Easy |
| Tank | Defense | Frontline absorber | Easy |
| Warrior | DPS | Balanced melee | Easy |
| Healer | Support | Team sustain | Hard |
Best Class for Beginners
Mage is the easiest class to start with. You stay at range, spam AoE abilities, and clear mobs fast. Low risk, high reward.
Assassin is the best class overall but requires more skill. You need to manage cooldowns and position correctly. If you’re confident in your mechanics, start here.
Class Stat Builds
Each class has an optimal stat distribution:
Assassin:
- Strength > Mana > Vitality > Agility
- Focus on burst damage, enough mana for combos
Mage:
- Intelligence > Mana > Vitality > Agility
- Max Intelligence for spell damage, Mana for sustain
Tank:
- Vitality > Strength > Mana > Agility
- Pure survivability, some damage for threat
Warrior:
- Strength > Vitality > Mana > Agility
- Balanced damage and tankiness
Healer:
- Intelligence > Mana > Vitality > Agility
- Healing scales with Intelligence
Pro Tip: Agility Investment
Regardless of class, invest in Agility early. At 200+ Agility, you unlock spammable dashes. This changes everything. You can dodge attacks, reposition instantly, and move around the map faster.
Understanding Races
Races give passive bonuses. You can reroll races with codes or in-game currency.
| Race | Bonus | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Human | Balanced stats | Beginners |
| Elf | Intelligence boost | Mage/Healer |
| Dwarf | Mining efficiency | Resource farming |
| Orc | Strength boost | Assassin/Warrior |
| Demon | Damage boost | All DPS classes |
Race bonuses are smaller than class differences. Pick what fits your playstyle, but don’t stress about it.
The Shadow System
This is where Arise Ragnarok shines. When you defeat an enemy, you can “arise” them as a shadow that fights for you.
How to Arise Shadows
- Defeat an enemy
- Click on the corpse 3 times
- The shadow joins your army
Not every enemy can be arisen. Bosses and special enemies have higher arise chances. Regular mobs have lower chances but are more common.
Shadow Ranks
Shadows have ranks that determine their power:
| Rank | Power Level |
|---|---|
| E | Weakest |
| D | Low |
| C | Medium |
| B | Good |
| A | Great |
| S | Excellent |
| SS | Top tier |
Higher rank = higher damage ceiling. An S-rank shadow will always outperform a C-rank at max level.
Upgrading Shadows
To upgrade a shadow:
- Collect copies of each rank (E through S)
- Go to the Shadow Upgrader
- Combine all copies
- Pay the upgrade cost
- Receive your upgraded shadow
This is why you want multiple copies of good shadows.
Progression Path

- Arise your first shadows
- Redeem all codes for free rerolls

Quest System
Quests are your main source of XP and rewards.
Quest Types
| Color | Difficulty | Rewards |
|---|---|---|
| White | Easy | Low XP, starter gear |
| Yellow | Medium | Good XP, shadow drops |
| Red | Hard | Best XP, rare gear |
Progression Tips
- Don’t rush into yellow quests before level 20-25
- Complete all white quests in an area before moving on
- Red quests unlock around level 50+
- Mob farming + nearby quests is the most efficient leveling method
Dungeons
Dungeons are portals that spawn around the map. They contain harder enemies and better rewards.
How Dungeons Work
- Gates spawn every 30 minutes
- Use gems to enter (cost varies by rank)
- Clear all enemies inside
- Boss at the end drops rare shadows
- Higher rank = better rewards
Dungeon Ranks
| Rank | Difficulty | Recommended Level |
|---|---|---|
| E-D | Easy | 1-20 |
| C-B | Medium | 20-40 |
| A-S | Hard | 40-60 |
| SS | Very Hard | 60+ |
Dungeon Tips
- Bring a full shadow team
- DPS classes clear faster
- Tanks help in group dungeons
- Save gems for higher rank dungeons
- Boss shadows are worth the grind
Combat Tips
Stun Locking
The meta revolves around stun locking enemies. Chain your abilities to keep enemies locked in place while your shadows deal damage.
Assassin Stun Lock:
- Dash in
- Use stun ability
- Burst combo
- Dash out before stun ends
- Repeat
Mage Stun Lock:
- AoE slow
- Burst spells
- Kite while on cooldown
- Repeat
Mana Management
Mana is your limiting factor. Don’t spam abilities mindlessly.
- Use basic attacks between abilities
- Invest in Mana stat for longer fights
- Bring mana potions for dungeons
- Let shadows do damage while you regenerate
Positioning
- Assassins: Stay behind enemies for bonus damage
- Mages: Keep distance, use terrain
- Tanks: Stay in front, absorb hits
- Warriors: Flank and engage
- Healers: Stay back, watch team health
Mining System
Mining lets you gather resources for gear upgrades.
How to Mine
- Find mining nodes around the map
- Equip a pickaxe
- Click on the node
- Collect resources
Mining Tips
- Dwarf race mines faster
- Better pickaxes = faster mining
- Resources respawn over time
- Sell excess resources for coins
Trading System
You can trade items with other players.
What to Trade
- Rare shadows
- Gear drops
- Resources
- Cosmetics
Trading Tips
- Check market prices before trading
- Don’t get scammed on rare items
- Build relationships with regular traders
- Save rare drops for good offers
Common Mistakes
- Ignoring Agility - Get to 200 for dashes
- Rushing content - Farm each area properly
- Bad stat distribution - Follow the builds above
- Skipping dungeons - Best rewards come from dungeons
- Destroying good shadows - Keep copies for upgrades
- Not using codes - Free rerolls and resets available
Advanced Tips
Elemental Weaknesses
Enemies have elemental weaknesses:
- Holy damage vs Undead enemies
- Shadow damage vs Holy enemies
- Fire damage vs Ice enemies
Match your shadows and weapons to enemy weaknesses for bonus damage.
Team Composition
Build a balanced shadow team:
- 2 DPS shadows for damage
- 1 Tank shadow for aggro
- 2 Utility shadows for buffs/debuffs
- 1 Flex slot for situational picks
AFK Farming
The game rewards AFK time:
- Shadows continue fighting
- Resources accumulate
- Check back periodically to collect
