Update 21 dropped the Re:Zero Part 2 collab and I’ve been grinding Reinhard nonstop. The new God Shield mechanic is brutal but the codes help. A lot.
I started playing Anime Guardians back in May 2025. Around 180 hours now. The gacha rates are rough (0.0045% for the best units) but these Anime Guardians codes make progression way less painful. Especially the Trait Rerolls. I burned through 500 trying to get Damage++ on my Sung before I figured out the system.
All working Anime Guardians codes for Update 21 are below. Copy them exactly because they’re case sensitive.

The ReZeroP1 code alone gives you 1,000 Trait Rerolls. That’s enough to perfect traits on 3-4 units if you’re lucky. I got Damage++ on my Satella with about 80 rerolls.
Codes expire fast in this game. The Update 20 codes lasted maybe 10 days. Redeem these now.
How to Redeem Codes
You need to hit Level 5 before you can redeem codes. The game doesn’t tell you this upfront and I wasted 10 minutes looking for the button on a fresh account.
- Launch Anime Guardians and clear a few stages to reach Level 5
- Look for the Codes button on the right side of your screen
- Click it and type your code exactly as shown (case sensitive)
- Hit Redeem and check your inventory
If a code says “Invalid” but you know it’s active, you might be under Level 5. The error message doesn’t explain this. Classic Roblox.
Best Codes to Redeem First
If you’re new, here’s my priority order:
- DELAY_GUARDIANS_2025 - 2,000 Trait Rerolls is massive
- ReZeroP1 - Another 1,000 Trait Rerolls
- REZERO_PART2 - 500 more Rerolls plus 10k Gems
- FIXSOON_ - Lucky Potions boost your summon rates
- NEW_WORLDLINE! - Artifact Trait Rerolls for endgame
The Trait Rerolls are the real prize. Traits make or break your units. A Mythic with Damage++ and Range+ will outperform a Guardian with trash traits. I learned this after wasting 50k Gems chasing rarity instead of building what I had.

Update 21 Overview
The Re:Zero Part 2 collab is the main event. Here’s what’s new:
New Units:
- Reinhard (Limited, 0.0045% rate, busted)
- Regulus (Secret)
- Subaru variants (Envy Route, Sloth Route, Lust Route)
- Satella evolution
God Shield Mechanic: Enemies now spawn with shields that block ability damage. You need basic attack units to break shields first. This completely changed my team comp. Check our Anime Guardians Guide for shield-breaking strategies.
Christmas Event: Farm Snowflakes in the City of Shattered Forest mode. The event shop has exclusive artifacts and evolution materials.

The Discord is chaotic but worth joining. Codes get posted in the #codes channel. New codes usually drop with major updates every 2-3 weeks.
Quick Tips From 180+ Hours
Traits matter more than rarity. A Secret unit with Damage++ beats a Guardian with no traits. Use those Rerolls.
Farm Infinite Mode early. You get 100 Gems per wave after Wave 50. With a decent team, you can hit Wave 100+ and farm 5,000+ Gems per hour.
Don’t skip the Chainsaw Man event. Even though it’s from Update 15, the CSM units are still meta. Denji and Power carry hard.
Save Lucky Potions for limited banners. The Re:Zero units are time-limited. Pop your potions before pulling.

Why isn’t my code working?
Three reasons usually. First, you’re under Level 5. The game doesn’t tell you this but codes are locked until you hit Level 5. Second, the code expired. Anime Guardians codes die fast, sometimes within a week. Third, you typed it wrong. These are case sensitive. Copy-paste to be safe.
How often do new codes come out?
Roughly every 2-3 weeks with major updates. Sometimes we get bonus codes for milestones like 50k Discord members or bug compensation. The Re:Zero update dropped 4 codes in one day.
What’s the best thing to spend Gems on?
Limited banners. Always. The standard banner has terrible rates and no pity. Limited banners like Re:Zero have better odds and the units are often stronger. Save your Gems until a good limited banner drops.
Do codes expire?
Yes, and fast. Most codes last 1-2 weeks max. Some milestone codes stick around longer but don’t count on it. Redeem everything the day you see it.
Can I use codes on mobile?
Yeah, same process. The Codes button is on the right side of your screen. Might need to scroll or tap around on smaller screens but it’s there.
What level do I need to redeem codes?
Level 5. Clear a few Story Mode stages and you’ll hit it in about 10 minutes.
