Anime Card Adventures Tier List (2026)

Domain Expansion and Hollow Purple are the best cards in Anime Card Adventures. Both are Legendary damage dealers that carry through all content. For supports, Infinity and Time Stop provide the most value. Reroll traits on any S-tier card you pull.

I've tested most cards in the game across Story Mode and PvP. The tier list below ranks cards by overall usefulness, not just raw damage. A card that's strong in one mode but useless in others gets ranked lower than consistent performers.

Card Tier List

S-Tier (Best Cards)

Card Rarity Type Why S-Tier
Domain Expansion Legendary Damage Highest burst damage, clears waves instantly
Hollow Purple Legendary Damage Massive AOE, low cooldown for a Legendary
Infinity Legendary Support Damage reduction is broken in PvP
Time Stop Legendary Support Freezes enemies, free damage window
Mugetsu Legendary Damage Single target nuke, melts bosses

Domain Expansion is the card everyone wants. The burst damage trivializes Story Mode and wins PvP fights before they start. If you pull this, max it immediately.

Hollow Purple is the AOE king. Clears entire waves in Story Mode. Less dominant in PvP but still top tier.

Infinity makes you nearly unkillable. The damage reduction stacks with other defensive effects. PvP players hate facing this card.

A-Tier (Strong)

Card Rarity Type Why A-Tier
Rasengan Epic Damage Best Epic damage card
Getsuga Tensho Epic Damage Good AOE, easy to evolve
Kamehameha Epic Damage Reliable beam attack
Healing Surge Epic Support Only good healing card
Thunder Clap Rare Damage Best Rare, worth keeping

Rasengan is the Epic you hope to pull. Damage rivals some Legendaries when evolved. If you don't have a Legendary damage card, Rasengan carries.

Getsuga Tensho has solid AOE and the evolution materials are common. Good stepping stone while you chase Legendaries.

Healing Surge is the only healing card worth using. Keeps you alive in longer fights. Not flashy but necessary for some content.

B-Tier (Decent)

Card Rarity Type Why B-Tier
Fire Punch Rare Damage Decent early game
Shadow Clone Rare Support Extra damage instances
Energy Blast Rare Damage Generic but functional
Spirit Bomb Epic Damage High damage but slow charge
Bankai Epic Damage Good stats, boring ability

Spirit Bomb looks impressive but the charge time kills it. By the time it fires, faster cards have already won the fight.

Shadow Clone is interesting for combo builds but requires specific setups to shine.

C-Tier (Below Average)

Card Rarity Type Why C-Tier
Ki Blast Uncommon Damage Outclassed quickly
Punch Common Damage Starter card, replace ASAP
Shield Uncommon Support Weak protection
Speed Boost Rare Support Niche use only

These cards work early but get replaced fast. Don't invest resources in them.

D-Tier (Avoid)

Card Rarity Type Why D-Tier
Basic Attack Common Damage Literally the worst card
Weak Heal Common Support Heals almost nothing
Taunt Uncommon Support Doesn't work properly

Taunt is bugged or poorly designed. Enemies ignore it half the time. Don't bother.

Best Cards by Role

Damage Dealers

  1. Domain Expansion (Legendary)
  2. Hollow Purple (Legendary)
  3. Mugetsu (Legendary)
  4. Rasengan (Epic)
  5. Getsuga Tensho (Epic)

Supports

  1. Infinity (Legendary)
  2. Time Stop (Legendary)
  3. Healing Surge (Epic)
  4. Shadow Clone (Rare)

Best Starter Cards

If you're new and wondering what to keep from early pulls:

  • Any Legendary - Keep all of them
  • Rasengan - Best Epic
  • Getsuga Tensho - Second best Epic
  • Thunder Clap - Best Rare
  • Fire Punch - Acceptable Rare

Trait Priority by Card

Which traits to reroll for on your best cards:

Card Best Traits
Domain Expansion Damage %, Crit Chance
Hollow Purple Damage %, AOE Size
Infinity Damage Reduction %, Duration
Time Stop Duration, Cooldown Reduction
Rasengan Damage %, Energy Cost Reduction

Don't waste trait shards on B-tier or lower cards. Save them for S and A tier.

PvP vs Story Rankings

Some cards perform differently across modes:

Better in PvP:

  • Infinity (damage reduction matters more against players)
  • Time Stop (players can't dodge like AI)
  • Mugetsu (burst kills before enemy reacts)

Better in Story:

  • Hollow Purple (AOE clears waves faster)
  • Healing Surge (sustain through long fights)
  • Getsuga Tensho (consistent damage over burst)

Evolution Priority

If you have limited materials, evolve in this order:

  1. Your best Legendary damage card
  2. Infinity or Time Stop (if you have them)
  3. Rasengan (if no Legendary damage)
  4. Healing Surge (for sustain)

One fully evolved card beats three half-evolved cards. Focus your resources.

What to Do With Duplicates

Pulling a card you already have isn't wasted:

  • Duplicates increase card power - Feed them into your main copy
  • Legendary duplicates are huge - Massive power spike
  • Don't feed cards you might use - Keep at least one of each Epic+

How I'd Build a Deck

If I pulled Domain Expansion:

  • Domain Expansion (main damage)
  • Infinity or Time Stop (support)
  • Healing Surge (sustain)
  • Best remaining cards

If I only have Epics:

  • Rasengan (main damage)
  • Getsuga Tensho (secondary damage)
  • Healing Surge (sustain)
  • Thunder Clap or Fire Punch (filler)

Budget deck (Rares only):

  • Thunder Clap
  • Fire Punch
  • Shadow Clone
  • Energy Blast

This won't compete in PvP but clears early Story Mode.
