A Dusty Trip Vehicles Tier List (January 2026)

Best A Dusty Trip vehicles: SUV, R1702, Flame Truck, and Ventor (free from New Year quest). The starter Sedan and Van are fine for learning. Sports cars and motorcycles are traps.

I’ve tested 50+ vehicles over 200 hours. Most aren’t worth Robux. This tier list shows which ones actually perform.

A Dusty Trip Vehicles Tier List

TierVehicles
SSUV, R1702, Flame Truck, Ventor
ARV, Pickup Truck, Military Truck
BSedan, Van, Jeep
CSports Cars, Motorcycles
DNovelty Vehicles, Rainbow Sedan

S-tier vehicles are worth the investment. D-tier is a waste of Robux.

S-Tier: Actually Worth It

SUV (799 Robux)

My main vehicle. Handles storms better than anything else, solid storage, takes a beating from mutants without falling apart.

High durability. Good storage capacity. Handles rough terrain. Stable in dust storms. If you’re buying one vehicle with Robux, make it the SUV.

R1702

A beast. High top speed, tank-like durability, large storage. The R1702 pushes through situations that would wreck other vehicles. Handles hills without slowing down.

Flame Truck

Same stats as R1702 with fire aesthetics. Pick whichever looks better. Performance is identical.

Ventor (Free - New Year Quest)

Free right now if you complete Mike’s quest. Collect 15 fireworks from Firework Shops and turn them in. Solid truck for a free vehicle. Check the A Dusty Trip codes page for full quest details.

Limited time event. Grab it while you can.

A-Tier: Good But Not Best

RV

Most storage space in the game. You can carry enough supplies for extremely long runs. Downside: slow and handles poorly in storms.

Best for long haul runs with a team. Not great solo.

Pickup Truck

Good balance of speed, storage, durability. Open bed lets you carry extra items. Solid all-around choice if you don’t want to spend 799 Robux on the SUV.

Military Truck

High durability, decent speed. Looks cool. The military aesthetic fits the post-apocalyptic vibe. Nothing special mechanically but reliable.

B-Tier: Gets the Job Done

Sedan (Free Starter)

The default car. Based on the Lada Riva. Free, reliable, low storage, average speed.

Don’t feel pressured to upgrade immediately. The Sedan can complete runs. I beat the game multiple times with it before buying anything else.

Van (Free Starter)

More storage than the Sedan but slower. Good for beginners who want to carry more supplies. The r/adustytrip community actually recommends this over the Sedan for new players.

Jeep

Open-top with decent off-road capability. Fun to drive but less protection from storms and mutants. Style over substance.

C-Tier: Skip These

Sports Cars

Fast but fragile. No storage. They look great but aren’t practical. One bad storm and you’re walking.

Only get these if you’ve already beaten the game and want to flex. Otherwise, waste of Robux.

Motorcycles

Same problems. Fast, no storage, no protection. Fun for messing around, terrible for actual runs.

D-Tier: Don’t Bother

Rainbow Sedan

It’s the starter Sedan with a rainbow skin. Same stats. Only worth it if you love the aesthetic. You’re paying Robux for a paint job.

Other Cosmetic Variants

Several vehicles are just reskins. Check stats before buying. If it matches a cheaper option, save your Robux.

What to Buy First

If you’re spending Robux:

  1. SUV (799 Robux) - Best all-around
  2. R1702 or Flame Truck - Raw power
  3. Pickup Truck - Budget option

Don’t buy sports cars or motorcycles until you’ve beaten the game multiple times.

Free Vehicles Worth Getting

VehicleHow to Get
SedanFree starter
VanFree starter
VentorNew Year quest
JunoCar Quest from Sci-Fi Stan
BlackoutBlackout quest

Quest vehicles are solid. The Ventor especially is worth the effort right now.

Engine Upgrades Matter More

Your engine upgrade matters more than your vehicle choice. A Sedan with a Carbureted Engine (140 mph) outperforms an SUV with the starter I4 Engine (80 mph) in speed.

Upgrade your engine before buying a new vehicle. You’ll get more value. Check the A Dusty Trip guide for engine breakdown.
